Active youngsters living in Rustavi, Bolnisi, and Dmanisi municipalities attended a training course "Youth Participation in Local Self-Government and Public Life", October 26-30.
The training was conducted at the Rustavi International Scout Center in compliance with COVID-19 regulations and covered such important issues as: youth policy and the reality of youth in Georgia, mechanisms for citizen engagement in local self-government, youth participation in self-government, and others.
During the training, the participants learned the techniques and good practices of drafting a petition.
Within the framework of the course, six participants were selected, who will hold informational meetings with their peers and youngsters in local municipalities.
After the course completion, a final meeting was held where the participants were awarded certificates.
