United States and Georgia celebrating 30 years of partnership

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the United States-Georgia diplomatic relationship.
Diplomatic relations between the United States and Georgia were established on March 24, 1992, when President George H.W. Bush made the announcement to the press.
It should be noted that from the very first days of Georgia's independence, the United States has played a key role in the political and economic development of the country, strengthening democracy, defense and security, trade and economic relations, as well as cultural and interpersonal ties.
The United States is a strong supporter of Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
We would like to thank the Government and people of the United States of America, as well as each and every American, for their support and friendship.
