World Press Freedom Day

Today, May 3, marks World Press Freedom Day. This day has been celebrated since 1993 and was founded with the participation of African journalists who after the fall of the Berlin Wall started fighting for freedom on the African continent and adopted the "Windhoek Declaration", which called on governments to ensure freedom of the press and its democratic nature.

Free media is at the core of building a democratic society, and this achievement requires constant vigilance and protection.

On this day, we would like to once again express our gratitude to the journalists who, at the cost of their own safety, provide us with objective information about the current events in Ukraine
