"Women's, economic empowerment in Georgia - opportunities and challenges"

In order to strengthen efforts in the direction of gender equality, on July 28, a round table "Women's, economic empowerment in Georgia - opportunities and challenges" was held.

The purpose of the round table was to discuss the role of women in politics and economy in Georgia, as well as the opportunities, challenges and obstacles for strengthening women's involvement.

The event was attended by women politicians, representatives of the civil sector and expert circles, as well as international donor organizations and women from the entrepreneurial/business sphere.

The round table was organized by the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD), in partnership with the Women/Business/Angels Association and with the financial support of the International Visegrad Foundation.
