CDD has released a new analytical report titled "Elections and Electronic Technologies - Observation Results and Best Practices". This report highlights the incorporation of new technologies into Georgia's electoral processes, examines how electronic technologies are applied during voting, and outlines both the primary outcomes and challenges associated with technology use.The findings and suggestions contained within this document aim to assist those engaged in the electoral process to review accomplished outcomes and swiftly address any identified shortcomings. We believe that such actions will greatly aid in conducting the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections in a manner that aligns with international standards and principles. Marking a historic moment since gaining independence, these elections will be carried out using a fully proportional electoral system and large-scar application of electronic technologies.
