The contest of photo, video and slogan “Decision Is Yours!” within the project of "Strengthening Youth Participation in the Electoral Process", is carried out by the Center of Development and Democracy (CDD), in cooperation with the Council of Europe (CoE) and with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kingdom of Norway.
The contest is open for young people below 26 years from September 5 to – November 1, 2013.
Contest of Video Clips “Decision is Yours!”
The main goal of video clip contest is to promote active involvement of youngsters in the public life, particularly motivating to participate in the elections.
Rules of video clip contest:
• Shoot the video clips by video camera, photo camera or mobile phone;
• Choose the type of the video clip can be any (short film, interviews, animation, sketch, and etc.);
• Duration of video clip should not be more than 5 minutes;
• Upload the video clip on Youtube with the title "The Decision is Yours!”;
• Send the link of your video clip from Youtube to an e- mail address: info@CDD.ge;
The letter must include the following information: o Your full name ; o Age ; o home address ; o cell phone number ; o e - mail address ; o the link of your video clip from Youtube..
• Video clips sent to us will be posted on the Facebook page of the project: Decision is Yours
• Deadline for submitting the video clip is November 1, 2013.
Contest of Slogans “Decision is Yours!”
The slogans presented on the contest should be calls for: the active involvement of young people in public life, the importance of youth participation in elections, the need to express their opinions, encouragement of being an active citizen and the importance of election in general.
Rules of slogan contest:

The letter must include the following information : • Your full name ; • Age ; • home address ; • cell phone number ; • e - mail address .
o Slogans, which do not fit the theme of the contest, will not be posted on the Facebook page of the project.
o Deadline for submitting the slogan is November 1, 2013;

Theme photo contest:
• The active involvement of young people in public life;
• Promoting youngsters to participate in elections;
• Active citizenship and the importance of expressing their opinions;
• The role elections and its importance;
Rules for photo contest:

The letter must include the following information : • Your full name ; • Age ; • Residence address ; • cell phone number ; • e - mail address .
• Photos sent by you will be uploaded on Facebook page of the project: Decision is Yours
• Photos copied from the internet (plagiarism cases) will not be awarded
• Photos, which do not fit the theme of the contest, will not be posted on the Facebook page of the project
• Deadline for submitting the photo is November 1, 2013
Selecting the Winners of the Contest and Award
• Two winners out of three from each contest will be revealed on the Facebook page of the project based on the number of LIKEs, one winner will be selected by the jury of the project;
• The winners will be awarded prizes and certificates at the final conference of the project, which will be held in November 2013, Tbilisi.
