On 5-12 May 2014 "USAID Sustain" in cooperation with CDD will conduct Reproductive Health week – “Create Future Today”. The goal of week is provision of information on reproductive health to youngsters.
Within the frame of the week events are planned in Tbilisi and regions: sessions of peer educator, public lectures, and TV and radio programs. Information booklets will be distributed as well. Besides small scale competitions will be conducted via social media, providing opportunity to youngsters to answer the questions on reproductive health and get prizes.

USAID Sustain project, implemented by John Snow Inc, will provide technical support to the government of Georgia in particular to the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs in improving reproductive health services. Within the frame of the project more than 100 family doctors and 500 gynecologists were trained in effective pre natal care principles, family planning, post abortion care, breast and cervical cancer. In purpose of improvement and maintenance of healthcare quality, USAID Sustain will also work on implementation of the programs for accreditation and certification of prenatal and reproductive health services.
