CDD observed the process of printing ballot papers

The ballots for Local elections of 15 June 2014 are being printed in 11 print shops. Together with the CEC members printing process is observed by 3 NGOs: CDD, Election Environment Development Centre and We- For Healthy Future. 

 

In total 9, 611, 100 ballot papers are being printed, out of them:

  • For the elections through proportional system  - 3, 203, 700;
  • For the elections through majoritarian system - 3, 203, 700;
  • For the elections of mayors of 12 self governing cities  - 1, 389, 550;
  • For electing governors in 59 municipalities - 1, 814, 150.

The ballot papers are also being printed in the languages of ethnic minorities: Armenian – Georgian, Azeri – Georgian and Georgian – Azeri – Armenian (in total 748, 500 ballots).
