With financial support of the Foundation Open Society Georgia, CDD observed local eleciotns of 15 June 2014 in 73 districts, with its 150 member observing mission.
CDD observed pre electoral, polling day (opening precincts, polling and closing precincts) and post election processes. The E-Day mission fully covered the precincts established in exceptional cases. In total 20 special districts were established, out of them 9 based on the data of the Ministry of Defense, 8 in penitentiary facilities, 2 in the Ministry of Interior and 1 in elderly house.
The principles of observing mission are as following: demonstration of respect for the Law, independence, preciseness, impartiality and professionalism.

On E-Day help line will work at the CDD (790 333 111).
The citizens can be consulted on polling procedures via help line. Besides, journalists and media organizations can receive information and local consultations on electoral procedures, polling day violations and the ways for responding to them. They also will be able to provide information about violations detected by them on polling day.
