On 1 July regular session of Interagency Commission  for Free and Fair Elections was held in expanded format, attended by political parties and NGOs with advisory vote;  at the meeting CDD was represented by the chairperson Ketevan Chachava and chief lawyer – Gorda Surguladze.

At the session the Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided information concerning detected violations. The commissioners discussed the application of UNM concerning summoning for questioning Gigi Ugulava – Mayor of Tbilisi, whose authorities are terminated. The representatives of Prosecutor’s Office explained that Gigi Ugulava’s summoning was necessary due to operative information. The commissioners also discussed the follow up recommendations.
