We, the NGOs call respective investigation agencies, to ensure unbiased, effective investigation. It is well known, that Prosecutor’s Office started the investigation on the fact of Iuri Vazagashvili’s death with the article 109 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which means intentional murder under aggravating circumstances. Taking into consideration high interest of the public, it is essential to implement the process in transparent and high professional manner.

The society was really shocked by the death of Iuri Vazagashvili on the grave of his son as a result of explosion, on 20 January in village Kharapila of Kaspi district.

We express deep sorrow over the tragic death of Iuri Vazagashvili and express our condolences to his family.
