Delegation of Women’s Forum Georgia in UN

The chairperson of CDD – Ketevan Chachava together with Women’s Forum Georgia visited UN head office in New York, where special session of  CSW59 was held, dedicated to the discussions of the results made by 20years upon adoption of Beijing Platform.

 

 

 

Side event Leading Power for Engendering Transformation of Society - of Women’s Forum Georgia – as of independent organization was conducted on 18 March, with support of Georgian representation in UN and participation of the Ambassador – Kakha Imnaishvili. Main focus of the event was on political – economic processes ongoing in Georgia as well as steps made to democratization and challenges facing Georgia on its way to gender equality. The event was attended by the representatives of delegation of other countries and diplomatic missions.
