Flat Owners Partnership Association in Georgia

On July 30th in the hotel “Radisson Blu Iveria” was organized the event by the Center for Democracy and Development (CDD) with the Georgian Institutional Development Center and financial support of “Open Society of Georgia Foundation”. During the project was presented the evaluation of work done by Flat owners Partnership Association and was analyzed current challenges.

 

 

At the presentation was represented in 5 cities: Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Poti and Ozurgeti identified problems work done by existing Flat owner’s partnership association, also was analyzation of current challenges, result of the quantitative and qualitative research, as well as the flat owners partnerships’  legal regulations and court practice.

 

 

The presentation was attended by local municipality executive and representative of legislative authority, as well as the representatives of Parliament and non-governmental organizations working on the same issue. At the end of the meeting was discussed required changes about Flat owner’s partnership association in Georgian legislative system. Also was given recommendations for Association’s future development.
