On April 27th, in the hotel "Holiday Inn" with financial support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and of the Central Election Commission for local self-government elections in 2014, was organized the training for the local observer organization’s representatives who participated in last election as observers. The training was attended by three staff members of the Center for Development and Democracy.
The training program aimed to increase the awareness of the parties involved in the elections, including the effectively implementation of monitoring function. The trainees of Training Center and the Legal Department introduced new legislation about voting procedures and the legal status of observers, as well as election disputes and appeals / complaints related issues.
