On May 31, local self-governing body - the City Council election will be held in Senaki and Zugdidi districts. (Majoritarian system elections will be held in the following districts: №64 Senaki №64.13 Potskho and №67 Zugdidi, №67.11).
Both Majoritarian districts are registered "Georgian Dream", "United National Movement" and "Free Georgia" candidates, while in Senaki district is also registered a representative of the initiative group. Accordingly, on May 31st, voters will have to choose between the candidates. In both districts the total number of voters are 2467. Senaki district (Potskho) recorded 626 voters, while the second (lower Potskho) recorded- 689. As for Zugdidi, there is opened only one district where the total - 1152 voters are recorded.
"The Center for Development and Democracy" is monitoring in all three districts local self-government body - the City Council election. Monitors are observing the voting day procedures, which includes: the opening of voting stations, the voting process, the closing of voting stations and the counting of results.
