GCG Reaserch - made the study "of Election research and analyze" which aimed understanding the knowledge of Georgian electoral programs of population. Particulraly, what information or understandings does population have generally about this direction. The study also determines how much awareness is among the population about the basic knowledge of the electoral process.
According to the research from the population survey, we received information on the following issues:
• Implementation of training programs in the field to identify the subjects (active non-governmental organizations, political parties, media);
• Study the processes of voter turnout (in the election process involving willingness, desire, initiative and their reasons, in the right ways)
• Research of used educational programs
• identify the needs for future initiatives
The research was held around Georgia and interviewed 1,700 persons. The research was held with a financial support of the legal entity - Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training Center.
Through the research was revealed that the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) was identified as one of the involved organization in the electoral process, with Georgia Young Lawyers Association, Fair Elections (ISFED), NDI, IRI, OSCE / ODIHR and transparency International – Georgia.
