Regular meeting with Interagency Commission for Free and Fair Elections

Third regular meeting was held in the ministry of Justice by Interagency Commission for Free and Fair ElectionsThe session was led by the Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani. The session was attended by members of the Commission; Qualified election subjects, other political parties and election blocs, local and international observer organizations, the Central Election Commission. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of Center for Development and Democracy (CDD), Marina Bendeliani.

 

During the meeting was discussed pre-election campaign in Sagarejo, as well as the changes in the statute of political parties with involvement of notary. According to Media one of the majoritarian candidates intruded to another majoritarian candidates meeting.

 

The Commission is also actively involved in, one of the candidates seized report issue, where the creditor is the Data Protection Commissioner. We conducted our negotiations with the inspector and I hope that creditor will give me the right to remove the lifted Lien from candidate until November ", - said chairperson at the meeting.

 

The first meeting with the inteagency commission was held in September 15. Interagency commission for October’s by-elections was created by the order of Minister of Justice in September 1. Its goal is to prevent the violation and react when necessary for 2015 of the Parliament and the Council’s by-elections, which will contribute to a free and fair electoral environment.
