On December 18, the Central Election Commission registered the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) as the local observing organization at extraordinary elections of Gamgebeli of self-governing community – Gardabani municipality. CDD will attend the election procedures at all levels of election commission.
 
The extraordinary election in Gardabani Municipality was appointed on the basis of the order N09/12/01 December 9, 2015 due to the death of current Gamgebeli.
 
The extraordinary election of Gamgebeli of self governing community – Gardabani Municipality will be held on January 28, 2016 at 63 precincts of N21 DEC where 71,968 voters are registered.
 
Members of the Center for Development and Democracy observation mission will observe the pre-election period, the procedures Election Day (opening PECs, the voting process, closing PECs, tabulation of the results) and the post-election period.
