The staff members of Center for Development and Democracy are deeply distressed for disaster that happened in Tbilisi and took people’s life. We offer our support to all the families and friends, this is huge loose for our country and for each citizen. It is very important unite the society of Georgia: the government and the citizens for the overcome and eradication if disaster.
On May 31, local self-governing body - the City Council election will be held in Senaki and Zugdidi districts. (Majoritarian system elections will be held in the following districts: №64 Senaki №64.13 Potskho and №67 Zugdidi, №67.11).
"The Center for Development and Democracy" is monitoring in all three districts local self-government body - the City Council election. Monitors are observing the voting day procedures, which includes: the opening of voting stations, the voting process, the closing of voting stations and the counting of results.
In cooperation with education system of Patriarchy of Georgia and Davit Agmashenebeli Education Center, with financial support of the Embassies of the Kingdom of Netherlands and United Kingdom, CDD organized information meetings on topic _ Georgia and EU” in different eparchies, for the representatives of schools and lyceums of Patriarchy.
The chairperson of CDD – Ketevan Chachava made a speech on “the role and experience of the organizations engaged in confidence building in transformation of conflicts existing in Goergia”. at the Session of Temporary Commission on Territorial Integrity held at the First Republic Hall on 24 April.
