In cooperation with education system of Patriarchy of Georgia and Davit Agmashenebeli Education Center, with financial support of the Embassies of the Kingdom of Netherlands and United Kingdom, CDD organized information meetings on topic _ Georgia and EU” in different eparchies, for the representatives of schools and lyceums of Patriarchy.
The chairperson of CDD – Ketevan Chachava made a speech on “the role and experience of the organizations engaged in confidence building in transformation of conflicts existing in Goergia”. at the Session of Temporary Commission on Territorial Integrity held at the First Republic Hall on 24 April.
The chairperson of CDD – Ketevan Chachava together with Women’s Forum Georgia visited UN head office in New York, where special session of CSW59 was held, dedicated to the discussions of the results made by 20 years upon adoption of Beijing Platform.

On 15 February CDD in cooperation with Davit Agmashenebeli Education Center under the Patriarchy of Georgia and with support of the Embassies of the Kingdom of Netherlands and UK organized training seminar – Georgia and EU for the teachers of schools and lyceums of Patriarchy of Georgia.
On 16 February 16 joint recommendations developed for improving electoral environment were presented at the hotel Radisson Blue Iveria. The meeting was attended by the representatives of local and international organizations and diplomatic corps, worked on the mentioned recommendations. The discussion was held in the end of the meeting.
We, the NGOs call respective investigation agencies, to ensure unbiased, effective investigation. It is well known, that Prosecutor’s Office started the investigation on the fact of Iuri Vazagashvili’s death with the article 109 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which means intentional murder under aggravating circumstances. Taking into consideration high interest of the public, it is essential to implement the process in transparent and high professional manner.
CDD condemns terrorist act implemented on 7 January, at "Charlie Hebdo” office in Paris, France; as a result of which 12 persons died, 10are injured and 4 – in terrible condition. We express sympathy to French people and believe that terrorism fully contradicts to European values, based on humanism equality and respect to human dignity
The CDD representatives participated in 6th Forum of Georgian Youth Organizations, aimed at development of NGOs and ensuring their participation in decision making process.
