On August 2 there was a presentation at the hotel “Radisson Blue Iveria” organized by UN Office in Georgia, at which Georgia was officially involved in the United Nations' global survey “My World” to improve the sustainability of the world. There was a change in the code of “Budget of Autonomous Republic of Adjara 2013” on 24th of July, 2013 according to which the budget of autonomous republic of Adjara increased by 14 722 700 Gel out of which 13 554 400 Gel will be spent for infrastructure and social projects.

The Parliament passed the amendments in the Electoral Code at the first session. On July 25, the talk - show "Public Policy" was devoted to the topic - Changes in the Election Code.

In the competition announced by the Elections Systems Development, Reforms, and Training Center on June 21, 2013, 6 projects were granted, among which there is a project "Strong Observing Organizations - To Improve the Election Environment" submitted by the "Center for Development and Democracy".

Representatives of Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) participated in the training about project cycle, which was held 16 - 19 July, in "House of Europe", with the joint initiative of EU and UN, supported by Confidence Building Early Response Mechanism (COBERM).

Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) has been registered by the CEC (reg. decree № 194 16.07.2013) as local observer organization for presidential elections on October 27, 2013.
