The Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) held N4 General meeting on January 31st. According to the organization's rules, the Council authorized to make decisions, as it was attended by the Members 3/5-over.
On January 25th-26th, was held a meeting by Georgian Parliament’s interfractional group and non-parliamentary political parties about electoral reforms in Kobuleti.
The chairperson of the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) Ketevan Chachava introduced to members of interfractional group’s recommendations by 7 organizationsfor the local Self-government elections. 2014. During the meeting were presented recommendations, reviews and discussion.
On 22 January, 2014 the Georgian National Platform prepared the Statment on the Latest Developments in Ukraine.
Final Report of the Election Observation Mission, for the Presidential Elections, 2013 conducted by domestic observation organization CDD in cooperation with Article 42 of the constitution, via financial support of the Open Society Georgia Foundation.
7 organizations (Center of Development and Democracy (CDD), Article 42 of the Constitution, Human Rights Center (HRC), Election Environment Development Center (EEDC), Georgian Democratic Initiative (GDI), Association of Georgian Regional Broadcasters (GARB), Media Development Fund (MDF) developed Recommendations to Inter Fractional Group of the Parliament of Georgia for Local Elections of 2014.
CDD’s Short Term Observers (STO’s) trainings were organized in 10 regions of Georgia from 15-25 October, 2013. Overall more than 170 Observers were trained and received certificates.
On October 15th, 2013 Center of Development and Democracy (CDD) became full member of the Eastern Partnership – Georgia.
Regional Coordinators Meeting of CDD attended by 20 representatives from 10 regions of Georgia was held in the hotel “Shine”, During September 19-22. During the meeting future plans, organizational strategy and vision was discussed.
3 day Training for Long term observers (LTO’s) of CDD was held in the hotel “Shine”. 15 LTO’s will conduct long term observation of pre-elections, e-day and post election period in 10 regions of Georgia.
