CDD’s Short Term Observers (STO’s) trainings were organized in 10 regions of Georgia from 15-25 October, 2013. Overall more than 170 Observers were trained and received certificates.
On October 15th, 2013 Center of Development and Democracy (CDD) became full member of the Eastern Partnership – Georgia.
Regional Coordinators Meeting of CDD attended by 20 representatives from 10 regions of Georgia was held in the hotel “Shine”, During September 19-22. During the meeting future plans, organizational strategy and vision was discussed.
3 day Training for Long term observers (LTO’s) of CDD was held in the hotel “Shine”. 15 LTO’s will conduct long term observation of pre-elections, e-day and post election period in 10 regions of Georgia.
On September 21, the Memorandum of collaboration between "Center for Development and Democracy" and "Civil Monitoring and Research Center" was signed officially at the hotel "Shine".
"Code of Conduct" for Observers was developed with the aim to ensure the behaviour in respect to the high professionalism and personal standards of each member of the Electoral Observation Mission that is relevant to an independent and impartial role of observers. “Code of Conduct for Observers" is obligatory for each CDD’s observer. Any serious violation of the Code will result in a number of sanctions.
On September 19, the chairperson of CDD, board members, representatives of head office, regional coordinators and long-term observers publicly signed the Code of Conduct for Observers at the International Center of Culture "Muza".

CDD’s competition for selecting the regional coordinators is over. From over the 500 applications 16 regional coordinators were selected.
Central Election Commission has a new chairperson. Six commission members chose Tamar Zhvania out of three candidates nominated by the President At the meeting held on September 11.
